Because it's Awesome



First pictures of four giant gaseous planets trillions of miles away.

Outside our solar system.

You can't see them in the picture, but they're there. They're four white spots.

We've been able to deduce that planets were there before, but these are the first photographs ever.
"It's only a matter of time before 'we get a dot that's blue and Earthlike,' said astronomer Bruce Macintosh of the Lawrence Livermore National Lab."
